FLIES NEVER LIE

One hot day, a train crew came to a stop in a siding. Soon after, the crew was confronted by a Trainmaster who was conducting operating
tests. The Trainmaster asked the Conductor to step down off the train so the two could talk.

Once on the ground, the Trainmaster began to berate the Conductor for failing to observe a rule while swatting at a swarm of flies circling
his head. The Trainmaster informs the Conductor that he was going to write an assessment form on him and that this type of things is on
longer tolerated.

While in the process of writing up the crew, the Trainmaster continually had to swat at the swarm of flies over head.  After viewing this
for        .several minutes the Conductor finally said "those circle flies sure can be annoying can't they!”  The Trainmaster hardly the time to
look up from his paperwork said, “Yes they are very annoying, but I have never heard them called circle flies before." The Conductor
explained that he was raised on a farm and they called them circle flies because of the fact they could always be found flying around the
rear of a horse.  After a brief moment, the Trainmaster suddenly stops, looks up from his paperwork and says "Are you calling me a horse's
ass?"  Quickly the conductor stated that he had too much respect for the Trainmaster and would not think of ever calling him that.  The
Trainmaster told him keeping such comments to himself would in his best interest if the Conductor valued his job.

After a long pause the Conductor said "But it sure is hard to fool those flies isn’t it?
